last thursday

yesterday, as we were leaving a very good afternoon at the library where Jovie followed my directions and was quiet in the “big” library, and stayed by herself in her library so i could browse books, she must have been feeling proud.

she started to walk “all by myself” toward the door.  then we held hands and walked outside on the sidewalk.  but she said “i walked ALLLLL by myself!” and i said, “you certainly did.  when did you get to be such a big little girl?”

to which she replied, “ummm, i think maybe last Thursday.”

i literally LOL’d

coincidentally, i do have footage of last Thursday. ….. what do you think?

a little heidi-esque, no?

excuse me, while i go look at old posts to try to determine, just when she became the perfect oxymoron:  a big little girl.

make it stop!

    Chelle,
Cherish those funny quotes. I’m glad you have a place to document them. I was told when the boys were little to keep a journal of things they said. Some things you think were so cute you’d never forget, in time it seems you do. She is growing up to be a BIG little girl for sure.

Very cute! And that’s great that she’s quiet in the library! Mine are definitely not.
