a few days in May

these past few weeks since school has been out has proven to be pretty busy.  there hasn’t been a ton of downtime.  in fact, “mommy school” hasn’t begun yet.  (we did, however manage to squeeze in one time of “mini-school”)

since school has been out a week and a half ago, we have had 2  water playdates, went to a birthday party, went to Partner’s Pizza for lunch, had a few park dates, had Christina  madelyn & courtney over for a playdate, went camping and then left for Florida (where i am writing this now from a gorgeous rental house!)

busybusybusy.    see?

*the world’s longest monotone “cheese” in the history of cameras just occurred.  i have 4 pictures all essentially the same thing.  you can see that it was getting to be too much:

we had a really nice time, and look forward to doing it again; possibly in the fall.

then we had a day in between to get ready for our trip to florida, and jovie’s first plane ride!

it’s been a blast so far- spending time at our lovely rental house on the canal, overlooking the bay.  hanging out with cousins (and aunts n uncles, too) and having late nights.  i will post more about florida…..   soon.
